TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

If you want a hot spicy chicken sandwich done right, this is the place to go. Quality is great and they have seven different spicyness flavors. Service is quick - you order and sit down. Food comes out in 5-10 minutes. Inside is clean and has many tables inside. The chicken was fresh and crispy as they fry it right after you order it! The spicyness was what I wanted!
My daughter and I tried this while in Denver. Very good food and the staff was nice.
Delicious and yes worth all of the rave! The chicken has a great crunchy exterior while keeping the moisture on this inside. The crinkle French fries were a great accompaniment with my chicken sandwich. The service was good and fast. I highly recommend coming over to have a gander and perhaps a bite or two.
So delicious. The service is fast and the vibes are always immaculate. I love how quickly the food comes out and how hot and crispy the fries are. The outdoor seating is also perfect for enjoying a hot crispy chicken sandwich outdoors!
Definitely prefer this location over the Broadway one. Service was amazing and everything tasted great. Their mac and cheese is a little flavor less and runny. But the chicken was fantastic, super juicy and perfect level of spice. The fries were perfectly hot and crispy. Asked for extra pickles and sauce and they delivered. The inside was also very clean and had lots of sunlight.
Food is beyond tasty and the staff is very friendly. A bit expensive but worth it in my opinion.
It's everything you want! A few items done right! Simple! Clean, fun environment, urban vibes, fresh out of the fryer and into your gullet! Great quality all the way down to the pickles! I love hot food, and am often disappointed with the love of spice that some restaurants claim is hot, but this place will knock your tastebuds back with heat. The staff are friendly and accommodating as well. Would go back time and again.
#pleAsed, when you consider eating out. The cast you are w/plays a part, the tyme of day, the weather * the opinions you have to choose from. Here we have Dave's HOT Chicken. Hang out spot, scenry: robust, engertic, fun, exciting. A place similar to a sports bar. Not someplace you will go in the middle of the day. Nor is it a place you take your mom. The food was HOT!!
Don't get me wrong, this place packs some heat. I went my middle eastern buddy and found out that this place actually only serves halal chicken which was a fun surprise. This specific restaurant attracts a very young "college crowd" which isn't bad or anything, just unique. The parking situation is not the best and you'll have to pay for parking there on top of everything. The prices are a little expensive but the portions are huge.
