TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I am upset that we didn't take any photos. We ordered this to go and the drive back home was about 15-20 minutes. When I say the food was still hot and the chicken had a crunch to it. I was throughly surprised. We ended this a little too much lol. I did heat up my second sandwich the following day. I was a bit nervous but the reheat value on this sandwich was A1. We will definitely recommend and will be back to try other items on the menu. They were busy but the food didn't take long. It was a chill vibe.
Slider w/ medium heat was pretty dang good. Definitely packing some spice, but I wasn't sweating. Fries were crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside. To me, that's a sign that a food joint knows what they're doing. And strawberry shake was great. $15 meal? Pretty worth imo. My only complaint is that the chicken wasn't slider-shaped; it was still just a tender, so at the end I had a few bites of bun that I didn't bother eating.
The single mild tender ($4.79) is the cheapest I've seen and equally incredible value. It came with a large tender, slice of bread, pickles, and extra Dave's sauce the guy offered. I'll always order it mild. The best fast food, period. Also, they quite possibly have the best shakes I've had
I order the medium tenders with crispy cheese fries. Absolutely delicious. Busy spot so get there before hot times. Wonderful customer service.
If you came here looking for a vegetarian review, I've got ya. If not, keep on scrolling! Obviously this is not a place you'd think of going to if you don't eat meat, but they actually do offer fried cauliflower at the heat level of your choice which is pretty cool. And they don't skimp on the cauliflower. I decided to try the #1 (2 cauliflower tenders with fries) thinking just getting 1 cauliflower tender would be small and not at all filling. I was very wrong. I got a massive serving, I think between the two cauliflower te... read more
Excellent flavor and crunchiness. I love it. Could be one of the best in town. I have tried a lot of fried chicken and without any doubt this is my favorite in Denver.
Was helped by the best server here!! Made my whole night, name was Caro? I'm not sure but I'll come back anytime!!!
I was nervous about the "hot" but the mild was truly a mild. I might even do medium next time! We ordered it to go and they supplied us with every thing we needed! Although we took it to go inside looked very well kept, and everyone enjoying their food! I will definitely have to check it out more next time I go to catch the vibe.
The food was really good, the chicken was juicy and hit the spot. Depending on how hot you get the chicken you will enjoy it. I do suggest this place because it's clean and the service is great. I came with a group of people and surprisingly they had the food out quick.
