TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Well hot damn, Dave! You sure know how to make a girl cluck with joy! Incredibly crispy and thin batter with more flavor than imaginable. A huge congratulations for your team who has only been in business for a few years and your admirable success across the west side of Cali. Reaper is wild, and this is coming from a paqui chip champion. I recommend everything - a bonus that their fries are seasoned for the gods.

I had never eaten at a Dave's Hot Chicken before and have noticed that they have numerous locations all over Southern California. So I decided to give it a try at this particular location. I ordered the Dave's #4, which is a slider with fries, pickles and a side of sauce. This goes for $9.95. They call it a slider, but I thought it was actually quite a substantial sandwich. Food is good. Service is also good. Place is clean but our table was sticky. Will return and I do recommend this place.
