I always thought that I did not like DHC because it always tasted like burnt chilies and unbloomed spices but this time was different. I ordered the mild (instead of spicy or extra hot) chicken tenders and the flavor really good. It was well cooked and juicy. Although I enjoy the spice, the mild did not have any bitterness or bad aftertaste to it like the spicy version that I've had in the past.
