TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Dave's has been consistently good at every location I've been to and I've always liked it better than even the OG Hattie B's...and this time was no different from quality and freshness of food but what really stood out today was the excellent service and friendliness of the workers behind the counter. First time here . Our service was fantastic . The guy taking our order was so friendly. Loved their special sauce . I got fries and a tender sandwich and mac and cheese . I enjoyed every last bite of everything. Sandwich was a bit messy to eat other than that . My daughter got the cauliflower slider she also enjoyed her food . For sure will eat there again. Love the extra pickles on my sandwich and on the side also !
I got a slider, a chicken tender and Mac'n'cheese all were so delicious! I'm a big fan of spicy foods and the spice was perfectly incorporated in the chicken. Ive ordered from here multiple times and each time the food is hot and the chicken is crunchy!
First time visiting one. The chicken sliders were very good. I did the less mild and think I could move to mild next time. Very nice staff. I will say I was disappointed in the soda choices. Only one diet option of Diet Coke which is nasty. With the amount of people drinking diet and diabetic it would be nice to see a Diet Dr. Pepper, Diet Sprite or even Coke Zero.
The food was fantastic, basic menu but delicious. The staff was just as good, friendly and helpful! great quick bite to eat.
A casual place to eat, that is a good option for a quick bite. The variety and quality of the food is very good; in fact, it has improved (and grown) since they first opened. The service is friendly. I love everything but the noise of the chairs when dragged. They are like nails on a chalkboard every time... I also love they rewards program!
Love this place all levels of spice are on point. The sliders the tenders I could eat multiple meals at once. The service is always professional and fast. Nice to be acknowledged as a regular.
After I went to the WAC, it was dinner time and went to Dave's Hot Chicken. I ordered the two chicken tenders and Kale salad. They were excellent! The chicken was crispy and flavorful. The kale slaw was yummy. Next time, I'll do to this place again.
Never fails to disappoint. Nobody the location, always love getting the two sliders with fries for 14$. Not bad of a deal and you know you will get a good balanced meal. Only successful location and a plus that they gave me a package of Dave's sauce to take home! So tasty!
