TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I don't know why this is my first time trying this place, just a mile down from my house .this is place is clean very spacious eating dinning area. Very colorful place. Music 🎶 is loud, but it is better than boring places with no music. Chicken Sandwich was hot freash delicious well seasoned. Fries was hot and crispy . First time trying Dave’s hot chicken. It was delicious. The seasoning on the chicken, the juiciness, the slaw, it was all fantastic. Service was quick and staff were very friendly.
We were quite surprised by this place. It really isn't much to look at from the outside and there's not much going on inside. But the food was surprisingly good. I had a (Hot) Strip, a (Hot) Slider minus the Dave's sauce (I don't eat anything containing mustard) and an order of fries. We were all very satisfied with our food and plan to stop by in the future. Unfortunately it's 1 1/2 hours to the closed one from my home. It would make for a great lunch.
First off, the chicken slaps harder than Will Smith. Secondly, the inside of the place is beautiful! Lastly, my girlfriend and I drove from Saginaw to try this place. We placed $130 order and it was ready in 15 minutes. My main man Chris wasn’t rude at all, but I think he was kinda upset about the huge order we put in. I work at a restaurant, so I get it. His reaction was the best I’ve ever seen. Made my experience 100x better. That man deserves a raise. We love you Chris, and we will be returning soon!
I tried Dave's Hot Chicken today. I went inside and the store is impressively clean and organized. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, even giving me a printed copy of the menu in case the sign board was a bit much. I ordered the two slider sandwich meal, hot, to split between my husband and I. It came with fries and pickles but no drink. I also ordered the bites with fries, no spice.
