TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I don't know why this is my first time trying this place, just a mile down from my house .this is place is clean very spacious eating dinning area. Very colorful place. Amazing food, However the service is very bad. TLDR: cost is high, food is great, service is bad and oh your meals don't come with drinks. Bit of a breakdown, the chicken is perhaps the best I've ever had, fries were great, the setting of the establishment is bright and sets a great mood for you and your friends. I loved the food. The chicken was crispy, the extra pickles are a nice touch and the fries were delicious. However...they're quick to point out the tip screen but cannot even let you know that drinks are not included in the cost of the meals. If I'm tipping you $5.00 for a $14.00 meal, why can't you at least bring my order to my table instead of me having to jump up and get it? Good food for a good price. I typically go for the #3 and feel completely satisfied. I’ve gotten Dave’s a few times since they opened, and even brought out of state friends who were curious. I’m a big fan of Nashville hot chicken, and if you like spice they have what you want. If you don’t want spice, get the medium and you’ll still get great flavor.
