TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

First off, the chicken slaps harder than Will Smith. Secondly, the inside of the place is beautiful! Lastly, my girlfriend and I drove from Saginaw to try this place. We placed $130 order and it was ready in 15 minutes. My main man Chris wasn’t rude at all, but I think he was kinda upset about the huge order we put in. I work at a restaurant, so I get it. His reaction was the best I’ve ever seen. Made my experience 100x better. That man deserves a raise. We love you Chris, and we will be returning soon!
I don't know why this is my first time trying this place, just a mile down from my house .this is place is clean very spacious eating dinning area. Very colorful place. Music 🎶 is loud, but it is better than boring places with no music. Chicken Sandwich was hot freash delicious well seasoned. Fries was hot and crispy . First time trying Dave’s hot chicken. It was delicious. The seasoning on the chicken, the juiciness, the slaw, it was all fantastic. Service was quick and staff were very friendly.
The chicken was great! I came in the other day and everything was cooked really well, spiced perfectly and the atmosphere there is so nice. Natalie helped me and she was very nice and helpful with the menu since it was my first time there.
My second time visiting the Troy location. The chicken is soooooo gooooooddddd!!! Wow! I tried the HOT sliders this time, man! 🥵🥵🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👌🏾👌🏾. Had me tearing up a bit. I’m too scared to try any hotter. I am curious about the Extra and Reaper but need to make sure the emergency room is nearby!!!😂😂 I love it when I come visit. So I will be BACK!!👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
