was curious and hungry so i went to dave's. i heard a lot about it on instagram so decided why not, i was immediately greeted by the sweetest employees and was helped by a gentleman by the name of jaxon who helped me decide on a mild combo #3. as i ate i was checked on by not one but two lovely people! will definitely be coming again :)
It was an amazing experience, I got the tender and the slider with mac and cheese & everything was exceptionally delicious and the customer service was good too and also their shakes are amazing. The best part is that it's halal!
Another new addition to the Seal Beach/Rossmoor fast food joints. Dave's Hot Chicken is the chain Canadian Rapper-Drake invested in. The food is Halal if that is of interest to you. Otherwise, it tastes like spicy fried chicken. Apparently, most people order the #3, which gets you one slider and one chicken tender. The chicken tender was definitely fried and decent. Food was amazing. Great customer service. Had a great time like I was walking into the hottest party in town.
The food was great and the sliders were huge. Great portions. Food was hot but very flavorful. May try a lower rating next time. We will be back.
This is the best chicken I have had at any fast food restaurant. The chicken is made when it is ordered. There is the most delicious kale slaw on the sandwich. The French fries are so good!!!The portions are big!!! Their macaroni and cheese has the best flavor. All the the staff is so nice!!!
New place that just opened. As I walked up to the door there was an employee holding the door open and greeting customers. Went in and got in line to order. There are several tables where you can sit and eat. There is also an outdoor patio available for dining. Noticed the tables had not been cleaned and one had crumbs? and water spots on the top. Was waiting for this place to open for a long time. We weren't opening weekend. Staff was super friendly and service was fast even though it was busy. Unfortunately the food was just ok. I've heard people rave about Dave's before so maybe my expectations were set too high. Chicken is seasoned to extreme levels. The flavor is not particularly good or bad, it's just a ton of seasoning. I think it was the owner who gave me a shot glass and asked me to leave a review. I am straight shooter and this place is freaking amazing. It was crispy juicy and spicy. For a place that just opened they are firing on all cylinders super happy with my meal!
