Less than satisfactory food experience. The counter service was good, the person was welcoming and upbeat. Food preparation time was slow, considering the restaurant was not busy. The chicken was a disappointment. I ordered a Dave's #1combo: two tenders and fries. What I received was three smallish, overcooked, dry tenders. The fries were good. BAD experience! I go to CSULB so every m-w and i stop by between my classes to get my usual order which is 3 chicken tenders with fries. I go daves hot chicken a lot in general and maybe out of every 50-60 chicken, one end up being either undercooked or not up to the quality that we expect from daves. Terrible service. I order a meal that took forever to make. Just for 2 other people to walk in 10 mins after me and get their food before me. Just terrible and when I asked about my food I noticed it was just sitting there and I was just waiting for nothing. Never coming back and that was my first time there.

I go here all the time and I will not be coming back because of the service. The young girl who works around 11 during the week shouldn't be working in costumer service period. She's rolled her eyes at me when I asked for silverwear, she hung up two times. It's really not that hard to be nice and shouldn't be having ppl working there who don't know how to handle situations properly.

Food was mid. I do not get the hype of this place. We ordered to dine in, and I got the slider and tender meal. The fries were cold and the chicken tender was soggy. The sandwich was good, that piece of meat was hot, so I don't know what happened with the tender. The table we sat at was sticky and not cleaned. The soda machine didn't have enough syrup so the diet coke had no flavor.

PLEASE CLEAN AND WIPE YOUR TABLES. It's gross having eat on dirty tables and seeing trash all over the floor. Even the trash cans were filled to the brim and clearly needed to be changed. The tables were sticky and had a ton of crumbs. Keep in mind I came in during non busy hours and no one really came in for the next hour while I was there. All the tables were super sticky even tho floor and ticket times are off the charts I was number 101 and after about 15 mins they were still on 96. For 27 dollars for a meal they could at least get food out at a quicker pace should take about 6-8 mins to fry the chicken and then assemble the slider how is it taking double the time they aren't firing multiple chickens since they have multiple orders. Seems their is no kitchen lead or just really bad efficiency

All the tables inside & outside were super sticky , so bring your own wipes . The music is sooo loud you it made it hard to order , or talk while we were waiting for our food . I'm sure the employees are enjoying the music but customers want to visit with their company .. we didn't see a manager and I think the young employees have full rein ..
