I was so determined to see what the hype was about and it was worth it. I can say I would choose Dave's Chicken over Chick fil a because of the flavors the chicken has along with the sauce that is the only thing I needed and the seasoned fries with pickles on the side and a side of bread will be giving I say a cookout meal and enjoyed everything even that Dave's sauce is giving ranch with French dressing vibes. Wow! What a discovery! A friend of mine wanted to eat next door at Lenwich but this place caught my attention. And oh boy am I glad I got this instead! Excellent decision on my part. Ambience looks like a fast food joint that has a very loud, colorful, artsy theme and chicken signs everywhere along with level of spiciness options. Service was great. Coming in to Dave's Hot Chicken with all the hype and people telling me how amazing it was. My expectations were sky high. To be honest it was a let down. The chicken was overpowering with too much damn cumin. The fries actually were really great a nice crunch and was perfectly salted. The pickles were standard. The sauce made it, it almost tastes like a better chick-fil-a sauce. The service, staff is very friendly will help you with anything and the ambiance was cool, small shop but great vibes

The customer service was impeccable. The presentation of the food was excellent as you can tell it was done with precision and care. The chicken was tender, the special sauce was a great addition, and the seasoned fries were everything! They had a great playlist going as I dined in, and the restaurant was very clean. I will be back soon.

Tried Dave's in the city with a friend I wanted to meet up quickly with. Ive heard great things about this joint specifically because they use halal meat and we all know Halal fast food options are few and far between even in a place like New York City. The customer service there is stupendous! Absolutely amazing honestly never had a fast food type spot ask me if I enjoyed the food after I was done eating and how I liked the sauce and made sure to tell me to have a great day 10/10 ! It's very clean and neat and I love the artwork in there gives off dope vibes. But on to the actual chicken sandwich it was phenomenal! I had heard about the nyc opening a while ago and finally made it down to try it. Since I ordered everything medium spicy, I didn't get to try the famous hotter varieties. But everything was still really good. The chicnen was tender and flavorful. The fries were hot and well-seasoned. The guy handing out the orders was friendly.
