If you're craving fast food chicken that's not Chick-fil-A, then Dave's hot Chicken is the spot to visit. While their menu is pretty small, mostly combinations of sliders and tenders, plus sides, they do their chicken very well. I got the fourth meal which was one slider with fries. Been on the hunt for some good and hot Chicken. There's very limited seatings inside the place. Decided to order the 2 sliders and fries with add on cheese- one slider with mild spice and one slider reaper. There was no waiver for the reaper so I think they toned down on the spiciness because the reaper slider was not really spicy. Cherif and Juliet hooked me up with the #3 combo and a milkshake. Make sure to find them when you come in. Excellent service! The medium spice level chicken was moderately and coated in a dry rub. Definitely needed the Dave's sauce which was like less less sweet chick-fil-a (excellent). The most seasoned fries I've ever had. Really flavorful! Overall, best chicken chain I've been to in NYC

It's hard to get a good spicy chicken sandwich in this area. Though there are a handful of good options, it's difficult to find something consistent. Enter Dave's. I ordered online for the first time and decided to go with the two sliders. Don't be fooled like I did: these are not slider portions! One would have been enough for sure. Wow. Dave's hot chicken is indeed HOT. I stopped by around 7:30pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was packed. Based on other reviews saying Hot was not Spicy enough, I ordered the extra hot Dave's #3 Combo with 1 Tender, 1 Slider and Fries. Unfortunately, I regretted that decision as I was eating my slider because it was extremely spicy. I have always enjoyed spicy foods but this was so spicy that it was not enjoyable. This was my first time at this Dave's Hot Chicken. It was a Saturday at noon. I had planned on eating a salad somewhere else until those plans were horribly trashed. I orderd Dave's #3 which included 1 tender, 1 slider, bread, pickles and fries wih my selection of HOT preparation. Since there are six degrees of spices to choose from, there is no finished product sitting and ready to go. I enjoyed my meal while listening to Nena's 99 Luft Balloons and watching people wait. Likely an unpopular opinion, this is a stretch to 3.5, rounding down The Hells Kitchen location is on bustling 8th Ave, so you get all the glory of tourists, trash and more as you walk to this spot. It's a mid-sized restaurant with maybe seating for 20 or so and some counter space. I opted to leave bc it was a hot spring day and too stuffy for me.
