This was seriously good chicken. The menu is on the smaller side so you're either going to get a slider (which is practically a full-sized sandwich) and/or a chicken tender (which is practically a whole chicken). I made the mistake of ordering the combo that included one slider and 1 tender. I was so full after just the sandwich, there's no way I could've finished both. Ok so I scout for halal meat options so I have a list of go to places handy when I am craving good tenders or burgers and I stumbled upon Dave's hot chicken. First impressions, the place is swanky and spotlessly clean. Deja my server gave me suggestions of nice combos which helped me save money else I was planning to order 3 tenders and slaw which costed a bit more. My boyfriend and I were in the area and wanted to try, we are unfamiliar with the area and were scolded in the back alley by an employee for parking somewhere we shouldn't, and we had to figure out where proper parking was on our own. Dave's Hot Chicken is located conveniently in Broad Ripple. We walked in, and ordered our food at the counter. My first impression was that the employees did not want to be there as they didn't greet us and were not friendly. The menu consists of chicken tenders that can be ordered with buns or without. Placed an order online on a Friday afternoon for lunch pickup. Menu is pretty easy and minimal with four options of chicken sliders or tenders. You can also choose your heat level. I went with mild. Food was ready at the given pick up time. The meal was just okay. Nothing special or extraordinary. Tenders were a decent size. Mild spice rub had just the right amount of kick. Dipping sauce was good. They also offer shakes, mac and cheese, and kale slaw.

This is a 5 star restaurant. A little pricey but definitely worth every penny. Never had a bad experience. Please open one in Fishers ASAP.

We were out near Broadripple and decided to stop for lunch. I convinced my 11 year old to venture out from McDonalds and try Dave's Hot Chicken. Our cashier, Kumaria, was really patient while my daughter decided on a Tender Meal (Lite Mild) with an Oreo Shake, while I got two sliders and fries (Medium). My daughter described the Oreo shake as scrumptious, and we both had to-go boxes. The pickles were on the side, which she loved bc they were still crunchy and not warm bc of the sandwich.
