I've never been to Dave's hot chicken but I was in broadripple for my friends birthday. I was about to head home around 12:30 and it was within walking distance and sounded so good. The outside and inside is super cool & everyone who was working that night was very nice and helpful. The food is sooo fire, I will definitely be back and have been telling everyone about my good experience

This is a great place. The chicken is spicy but delicious. The staff is excellent and really pleasant. Highly recommend. Devonte was a terrific help in explaining the menu. Will definitely come back.

First of all, let me say that I am a sucker for ambiance and this is quintessential Broad Ripple with a cool twist. When you first walk in, it's super cool and the food is so good. I loved how friendly it the staff is and the food options are plentiful. We've been twice since and each time we've had an amazing experience.

My family visited here for lunch the other day. While chicken tender restaurants seem to be all the rage right now, I don't quite see the appeal. Dave's only sells chicken tenders. You can get them with or without buns and at 7 different heat levels. There is no sauce here...just a dry rub (it reminded me a little of Shake & Bake BBQ). This is not your traditional hot chicken - it's more dusty and has kind of a sweet allspice like flavor. The chicken was very juicy and the tenders were huge, probably a full breast or at least a half. Don't be scared to go up the heat scale. We started with medium and wished we would have gone further. The fries are heavily seasoned. We were served almost immediately and the restaurant itself is nice and clean. I would recommend!

Let's be honest. Delivery is never the perfect way to experience a restaurant. I think it's especially not the perfect way to experience a restaurant for the first time. I have been wanting to eat here since it opened. Got take out here last night. Showed up early and the food was ready. Came out hot and amazing. I got the one slider one tender meal. Slider -medium tender-hot both were amazing. Flavor wise I'd stick with medium. This place does hot chicken right!

I stopped in for lunch over the weekend. It's broad ripple so the parking situation is rough. Add in the street out front is under construction. The staff was friendly and helpful. The menu is super simple and the dining room was clean. I ordered one tender and one slider. These are massive tenders! It's more like a filet. I did not try the slaw. The food was good. They are loaded with seasoning and it's a bit overwhelming. Also even the mild was pretty hot. If you enjoy hot chicken I would check this place out.

This was my second time coming to one of these restaurants, and I was impressed again. Generous portions, and really strong flavors. I will definitely be back.
