TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Dave's does it right! They're chicken sandwich combos and flavorful spice is a must have for any chicken lovers. Great selection of sides and a the creamy shakes help calm the burn down! Overall two big thumbs up!
I got to say, this was some real good chicken. There's another chicken spot across the street, I won't say, but this beats it out of the water. Everyone there was real cool, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Good place if you wanna work on your spice game. I recommend to anyone looking for some good chicken in Gilbert.

This place was pretty good. The service was super quick. We may have just gotten there at the right time but not long after we placed our order we sat down and our food was ready and fresh. Crispy fries and hot juicy chicken. I tried the chicken spices one mild and one hot. The mild didn't really have much spice at all but the hot had some kick. My new favorite food place! Been twice now and the hot chicken sliders are too good! Plus they don't charge for sauce so gotta love it. The flavor of the dry rub is amazing. Definitely recommend!

I'm a native of Nashville, Tennessee and am amazed at the number of hot chicken joints popping up across the country and especially here in the Phoenix area. First off, Dave's is not bad. Not great, but not bad. Nowhere close to say a Hattie B's, Princes or Big Shakes in Music City. Dave's is more in my opinion middle of the road when it comes to serving up hot chicken. Great food! It's moist chicken, flavorful, and best of all spicy! The fries are bomb as well!
