TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Took a drive from central Florida to check this out . Very simple menu, and the food was good for fast eats. We tried the Mac and cheese as well. It's creamy and a great side to offset the heat. You can also order the chicken with no spice. A humble suggestion would be to offer ranch as a sauce . There's not a lot of sauce options. Maybe pack your ranch if you're a ranch lover !!!! The young gentleman who helped us was very friendly and informative as well. Great service!
Me and my husband visited Dave's after I stumbled across it on tiktok, it's approximately 30mins drive away from Orlando where we were staying. This burger place is halal, they have a halal certified certificate on the wall, and also on the counter when ordering food, and they will also show you it if you request to see it. 1st times there and I had a great experience. The food was tasty and diffrent the spice is nice and a powdery spice not wet sauce. Didn't think I was going to enjoy it as much as I did the flavors were great andone things forsure I will be back! The women taking orders was super polite and helpful came to my table to make sure if I needed more condiments and that my meal was in top shape...A+
This past Saturday, I went with a friend to try Dave's Hot Chicken for the first time. We tried their chicken tenders in every level of heat and also got a medium chicken slider and fries. We started at no-spice and worked our way up towards “reaper” - We had to tap out at the "hot" tenders but took the last two home with us. I love this place. The chicken is always good, fresh as the slaw on the slider. Extra pickles is a genius addition, it makes my pickle-loving-self happier than heck. Love the medium spice level. Hot is really good especially if you're in the mood to sweat; anything over that is for all you folks who enjoy suffering. The fries and mac n cheese are fantastic too.
