Just like I imagined it. I got the extra hot two sliders and fries. I want to bump it up to the reaper because I love hot and the extra hot wasn't enough. Very filling large chicken portions. The fries were so fresh and crispy. Slaw was crunchy and tasty. So good, I had a craving for it the rest of the week, lol.
We got the mac and cheese and the fries. Chicken was good, it's a dry rub which is unique, it's spicy and it's not a liquidy mess. The mac and cheese wasn't great. French fries are yummy. kale slaw was good if you like that. The toast was just a piece of white bread. so... yeah. it was alright. they did have HIC popping pink lemonade so that added a star.

Four stars for the amount of food and the customer service! While the chicken was overall pretty ok, I got one mild and one medium-- you couldn't really tell the difference between the two. My bf got no spice and he stated that there wasn't any flavor at all. The food was prepared pretty quickly, and the person who served us was so polite and explained the menu to us. The restaurant was PACKED when we arrived around 930pm, but we were in and out in about 10 mins. I recommend eating at the restaurant, though. We live less tha... read more

I am HUGE on spicy chicken sandwiches & it takes a lot to impress me with them!! I am the type that likes when the batter is seasoned rather than a "spicy sauce" is slapped on the bun. With that being said, Dave uses a batter & he does it perfectly!! This sandwich was impressive. The chicken is well seasoned, juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. First time going here. Place is very clean. Cashier was nice on letting me know what flavors to get. The Mac and cheese wasn't that good, tasted a bit watery. But the chicken was really good. I got it in mild because I didn't want to get it too but I I definitely recommend getting something a bit more spicy. Added honey on the chicken and it really enhanced the taste. Fries were good but just a little salty. Overall I would definitely go back to visit.
I got the chicken slider with fries and a side of Mac and cheese. It was all delicious and fresh. I went on Saturday for my lunch break and it was a little busy. I didn't get a pic of the Mac and cheese because I ate it all right away. It it was delicious. The place was clean and modern. Very nice and good food!
I stopped by the restaurant for lunch on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. The Altamonte Springs site is the second location for the California-based chain in the Orlando area, the first being in Waterford Lakes. This location has ample indoor and outdoor seating and was kept meticulously clean and organized. OMG! I can't believe they've opened a Dave's hot chicken in central Florida! The last time I tried Dave's hot chicken was in Houston Texas, and it was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had! My partner and I came and we decided to get the two chicken sliders meal and added a side order of fries. We put the spice level to hot, and trust me it was hot!
