Dave's Hot Chicken definitely lives up to its name. The chicken is hot as in spicy. We ordered a medium heat and it was too hot for me but I also have a low tolerance for spicy food so I would try mild next time but overall the sandwich was solid. Had flavor and spice. The fries stole the show for me. Hot, fresh, and tasty! The season on the fries taste sort of Cajun but also had multiple different seasons, if that makes sense. Y'all. We've been here several times in the last couple months. We love it! (Especially the boys). The chicken is tender, flavorful and delicious! I am a spice baby (not to be mistaken for Baby Spice/Spice Girl) so I get the light mild. There are a lot heat levels so pick your poison. The cheese fries are good and you gotta ask for extra Dave's Sauce.

can't say much about the service since i just ordered it online to pick it up but the food was absolutely delicious i've heard a lot about dave's chicken and figured it was just hype but i really enjoyed this place i ordered the two tender combo with medium heat any spicier probably would've been too much for me but it was very good!! the fries were seasoned nicely and the chicken was very juicy and crispy i hope to see more locations in florida very soon

Amazing place to eat at, but it could be a LITTLE bit hotter. I went over here when it just opened up when we were gonna see Avatar 2. I got the medium since I'm a wuss, it was piping hot, right outta the fryer!!! but the chicken wasn't what made this experience good. It was the gosh darn fries. It was crispy, and piping hot as well. Than it was the 2nd time I went over. Holy gosh gracious, they said "Do you want cheese on your fries?" CHEESE?!!!?!?!? Of course I want cheese!!! This chicken is the best chicken I've ever had! We ate at a Dave's hot chicken in Vegas. This chicken was the best thing I ate there. Was excited to see this restaurant in Florida. Gotta try!

stopped here after a long day at Universal Studios. The place was new, so it was crowded but the line moved very quickly. The staff were super helpful and gave me their personal opinions on spice levels. I ended up with a medium and a hot. The medium was a great level of flavor and spice, without being unttolerably spicy. It was a good amount of food as well. I would definitely return.

Spicy chicken has been on my radar for awhile with all the chicken places entering the O-Town area. So, the opening of Dave's close by, an open mealtime, plus reading their very good reviews on Yelp meant a stop at DHC needed to happen! I arrived at suppertime and walked right up to the counter to order Dave's #1, two tenders, crinkle fries, pickles, and Dave's special sauce to-go. Good chicken sandwiches and fries. I went late after Christmas shopping. I wasn't disappointed with the food. I hope it's always like this. The "Hot" was entirely too hot lol I thin I got medium or mild but it was still a good spice level. I only got 1 slider with fries but my bf got 2 sliders. He only ate 1 and took the other to go. I don't think you need 2 sandwiches in one sitting.
