I've had Dave's Hot Chicken before but at a different location. I wanted to try it again because I was craving a spicy chicken sandwich and I thought my first experience was pretty good. Now, I can confidently say that Dave's Hot Chicken is one of my top choices if I were to ever crave a spicy chicken sandwich again. Their menu is pretty straightforward. Went to the one in LA ( fell in love ) and was super happy to hear that there was one in the Bay. FOOD: 10/10 I get medium because I want to enjoy my food without suffering through the spice. I love the little sweetness in the seasoning. I HATE PICKLES but I love it here!!! Great fries and sauce too SERVICE: Considering this is a fast food chain, the service here is pretty good! AMBIANCE: Very chill and relax place to be. I love how casual it is. You can show up here in your pajamas or in your normal clothes

I feel like this place is over hyped. It's fine but nothing special. I got food to go cause I was feeling hungry after Fieldworks next door. We ordered 2 sliders with the fries to go. The sliders were pretty good and flavorful and the chicken was juicy and not dry. I got medium spicy and didn't think it was spicy at all. I think I'll come back for sliders if I'm feeling hungry. I had the two slider meal today. I got medium spice. The chicken is really juicy and had a good level of heat that wasn't too much to handle. I think if you are a person who doesn't like spice you could handle the medium. The sliders were loaded with fresh toppings and cheese. The bun was soft and the chicken was super juicy with a slight crunchy exterior. The fries were seasoned great and very crispy. I have nothing bad to say about this place. The food is always good and the staff is always friendly. Not to mention that they get the food out to you super quick without a long wait time. This is a great addition to the Downtown San Leandro area

Ordered through Uber Eats I ordered 2 chicken tenders with fries and a Mac and cheese, the food was still hot when I received it. Starting with the tenders they were huge, I don't usually like big tenders but these were soooo good, very crispy and the seasoning was on point! The fries were a little soggy but that's the way I love them also seasoned to perfection, Mac and cheese was also very good!

Dave's hot chicken did not disappoint. I got the two sliders (medium heat) with fries. Dave's sauce is fire. We got our food very quickly and the staff was polite. When I'm in the area, I'll definitely go back
