TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This is a newly open location in downtown San Leandro. The employees there were really nice if there was any problem. The chicken was very seasoned but I think it was too seasoned on the outside. The chicken for the sandwich is not flat so it was hard to get an even bite with the bun, slaw and chicken in one bite. The chicken shape was more like a tender. Dave's Hot Chicken opened quickly and efficiently in the corner space next to Fieldwork's Brewery. prime location. literally took days to assemble & open, it seems. can see signage on drive by. inside seating only. no patio. intimate setting whereby one can hear orders clearly. The food is better then cane's it actually has seasoning and the fries have seasoning too very good. Staff is friendly. 100% recommend this place
Smooth service and flavorful chicken. The chicken comes out nice and hot. The crinkling fries are an added bonus.
We order to pick up online but they didn't have our order ready we had to wait so long for an order that was supposed to be done ahead of time the food was good but service needs improvement
The chicken was good the fries not. I had three sandwiches. The wait was about 15min.
The service here is great and the food is delicious I reccomend this place it was great service thank you I will be coming here again with my family.
Two thumbs up. This place is a hit. I ordered the chicken sandwich and fries. I read up on the reviews and saw that the spice level here was on the low scale, so I ordered Hot. And hot is wasn't. I think the spicy chicken sandwich at Wendy's has more kick. The food was good their fries have flavor and their sliders are bigger than I thought the 2 things I didn't like is we order online and when we got there it was not ready so we waited but it took around 20 mins for our order which in the app It also said 10 min I think they need to be more organized and have more employees in the front but when we finally got our order the girl was nice and polite
