TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Another conTender in the chicken game. Big juicy crispy pieces of chicken on soft buns , super crunchy slaw and pickles with Dave’s sauce drizzled on it .you can pick your seasoning level from no seasoning to reaper. I tried mild and no seasoning so I can taste the chicken and the sauce and both were delicious. Fries were seasoned nice and crispy as well. Place had plenty of seating , and some fountain drinks. Fast friendly service. Defiantly a good stop for a good chicken sandwich.
Phenomenal!!!!! And it takes a lot to get that word out of me for a food review. Finally, a casual restaurant where you get what you pay for. I ordered the 2 tender meal with Cole Slaw. I chose the "hot" spice level, and it was just a tad spicy for my taste. I find the spice level in Frank's Red Hot sauce to be just about right, and this was like one level hotter. Ordered the tender (hot) and sandwich (medium) combo and a side of kale slaw! I loved the sandwich. The chicken was juicy, crunchy, and flavorful, not too spicy. The fries and kale slaw were also delicious. The hot chicken tender definitely had a nice little kick, next time I’ll be brave and try extra hot.
Chicken was great. Service was good won’t recommend for dining in though. It’s extremely tight and not comfortable when it’s packed. Prices are decent. They called the sandwiches sliders but for me it’s more than enough for a full meal to share for 2 people.
Great place to go for any day or meal! Colorful dining area with a wide panoramic view of the Wayne skyline. The service was fast and efficient. We met the owner David, really nice guy, but wouldn’t give up his chicken recipe 🤷. The food was great though, good portions and a good sauce on the side. Clean bathrooms, with an outlet to charge my phone. There were no paper towels though, so my chicken may or may have not gotten wet, but it was still delicious👌.
