TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Uffffff - This is kitchen is: "muy delicioso" I have been dying to try this kitchen ever since it opened up and unfortunately the line was always out the door. Well, today was my lucky - and I have to say that it was worth the wait. The flavor in the chicken is unique and have some cajun flavor to it. I only had one slider (after I finished I realized I could have gotten for that second one) but it was delicious. The combination of the cole slaw, pickle and that chicken, is an explosion of flavor in your mouth. Love it!!!!... read more

I've passed this place a ton of times and finally decided to place a to go order for a slider with fries. Cute they call them sliders but don't be fooled it is a real sandwhich!!! I was actually quickly in love with this place - sauce was so good, coleslaw complimented the crispy chicken and spice level perfectly, the fries are crinkle cut with some old bay season and whatever dip came with it was amazing. Can't wait to go back!

Food 9/10 Service 10/10 Wait 7/10 Price point 7/10 Returning: yes. The chicken is juicy and not dry. The dry hot rub is good on the chicken is good and has a lot of heat. Their sauce that they put on the sandwich and as a side is also very good (just would like more of it) especially for the more hotter sandwich's. I can do w/o the slide of white bread they give with the tender. Seems pretty full most of the time however the wait isn't to bad.
