TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Everyone is making hot chicken now so I figured I see what the bfd was? Ordered the number 3 medium, One chicken finger and one slider with fries. Added a vanilla milkshake. The chicken was very good and and made fresh. Tenderloins, so very juicy and had a nice crisp. Medium was not very hot, so if you want heat start with hot and go from there. The place is busy during lunch. The sitting area is bit cramped. So people do not linger much. Easy to get table by the token for food comes. The food was great. Had the extra hot (it was not crazy hot) great flavors. The bread, pickle and Dave's sauce all help to balance the taste. The food is cooked fresh so takes wee bit to come. Overall a good place

A very good chain for Nashville style hot fried chicken. The portions are great for the price. We always get the sliders and switch between the levels of hotness. Fries are part of the meal and deliciously flavorful and seasoned. Fresh sliced pickles always come with the meal. The kale slaw is a great combination to compliment the spice. Service is pleasant and efficient. It's always packed but they get your food fresh and hot quickly. The interior has an industrial design to it but perfect for the theme.

My sister ordered delivery for Friday night and we had a STASH of mild and medium burgers because we were new and didn't know what to expect. One box of fries as well. This was amazing. A bountiful serving of chicken that tasted like the proper dry rub was put on tender juicy well cooked chicken breast with crisp pickles and a soft potato bun. I had two with the crinkle fries and all I needed was a MILKSHAKE. Can't wait to eat this again!!
