TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

The fast food restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. It has a limited menu. They offer chicken sliders and tenders in various sauces. The sauces range from mild to "reaper" which is the hottest sauce. I ordered the combination that included 1 chicken slider and 1 chicken tender with french fries. I also added a side order of macaroni and cheese. It was very good and not too salty.
To be honest I’m really not into fast food, but my teenage son really wanted to see what the hype is about…. It’s good but not something I’ll come back for.. good for teenagers….the powdery dry spice and pepper is a chocking hazard… I like sauces with heat… and flavor
The cashier was friendly and helpful. Food did not take long before it was ready. Only thing was I asked if the utensils and napkins were in the bag and when I got to the hotel, there wasn’t any. Other than that, I got the 2 tender combo, medium and hot. The hot was the winner for me‼️ Fries perfectly salted imo.
Their REAPER sauce is really Hot 🥵. But I enjoyed. Test is great 😊. The shakes of the cinnamon top is so yummy 😋 after the hot sauce burger 🍔.
Update 1 - 2 Stars - October 13th, 2023 I stopped by the store again today hoping to have a different experience. The food was a bit better but the portions were much smaller for some reason! They also forgot to include the French fries for three meals out of the eight meals I ordered. (See photos) The stickers they put on top of the food container fall out inside the bag and make it very difficult to identify the spice level of each container.
