TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I unfortunately forgot to take pics of my actual food. I ordered the 2 slider combo. Now just fyi, they use the term slider very loosely. This "slider" was a whole regular sized chicken sandwich. Wasn't nothing slider about it. And I had two of them I'm not sure who was supposed to eat all of that. Lol Service was decent. Everyone was friendly. Sandwiches were really good. I'd definitely try them again
My mom recommended this place so I doordashed it tonight. Can't speak to the atmosphere or restaurant itself but I can speak to the food. I'm pretty nearby so the fries arrived crispy and hot. I ordered the single slider (it's a full sandwich so don't let the name worry you) with cheese fries (cheese extra). I got the Mac and cheese too and an Oreo topped shake. Wow. It was honestly even better than I expected. The tenders were super moist and juicy and the sauce was a nice compliment to the heat and flavor. Fries could have been hotter but honestly after the tenders I couldn't eat more than a couple. I got hot and was sweating after but it wasn't too hot to be unpleasant. Next time I'd probably go medium. Extra hot and reaper are just a novelty imo.
Super tasty chicken!! Clean bathrooms and helpful staff. Worth the line. Hot chicken is very hot so be warned
Food was great, i love how the fries had flavor and along with the fresh coleslaw it made the whole experience worthwhile.
This place is probably the best chicken I've ever tasted in my life really like the chicken it has well seasoning me and my family love to eat her all the time

I have no complaints with this restaurant I originally tried this place for the first time in California and it was amazing so I knew I had to try the Nebraska location. The restaurant was pretty busy but the workers were moving fast after placing my order I sat in the lobby and waited. The lobby was clean and there were plenty of sitting. I also ordered a fountain drink but the fountain drinks I realized after trying 3 different flavors were all flat sodas so I end up just getting some ice water. First time at Dave's Hot Chicken and it was pretty good. The wait took some time because of how busy the store was. The order takers/counter workers were very sweet and helpful even though it was busy. The store is very fun and bright with drawings all over the walls and a giant chicken on the far facing wall. The chicken was juicy and flavorful (I got Extra Hot and it wasn't anything crazy). Fries are crispy and dave's sauce didn't disappoint.
