TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Daves hot chicken was decent! I got the second or third hottest one and it was the right amount of heat for me. Really liked the sauce. My dad got the normal chicken slider with cheese. It's a good amount of food but still expensive for the price. Have heard some bad things about ownership/management so I won't be back personally unless someone I'm with wants to go like my father did this time.
Tried Dave's Hot Chicken for the first time! We don't have this in Tulsa, OK so I was so excited to try it since moving to Omaha. I was underwhelmed. I think I'm just not a Nashville spice type of gal. I can see why it is so popular though. I got the Dave's #1 mild which came with two tenders and fries. I loved how huge the tenders were. Love the juiciness and flacor of the tenders as well as the Hot Cauliflower bites and the Reaper will put a hurtin' on you, so beware.

Moved from LA to Omaha and was excited to try out Dave's hot chicken here. Only thing I can say is the taste is exactly the same. The service was great with very friendly workers. And as far as decor and the place itself it's the same as any other Dave's hot chicken. Very excited to have them in Omaha.
Finally got a chance to try Dave's hot chicken late one weeknight and I was thoroughly impressed! I was afraid it was going to be insanely hot to I downgraded and only got my chicken medium and in the future I will be getting the hot. Their seasoning almost has a little sweetness to it. It's very good! The chicken was very juicy and tender! Next time I will be getting the sandwich though. I was aware the bread that came with the tenders was just plain white bread.
