I've been waiting to try this place since they opened. Every time I drove by it was insanely busy. Parking is hard to find in the parking lot. Food is decent. Trying to find a place to sit down and eat was another challenge. We let another couple with a baby sit at our table since there was not a place to sit.The reason for the 3 star rating is limited parking and seating options inside.

5 stars for this California chain. It's a simple menu, similar to Raising Canes, but has a southern feel and the HOT chicken. Chicken is tender, and well prepared. The coating is light, crispy, and well flavored. The spice levels are adequately rated, and delicious. I even love the sides of mac and cheese, fries and the kale slaw. First time visit, definitely not my last. I ordered the #3. It includes a slider, a tender, fries, Dave's sauce, a slice of bread and pickles. I ordered it medium hot. It was all fantastic. The slider was absolutely great. It had a very large piece of breaded, tender, juicy, chicken on it. It came with Dave's sauce, pickles and kale slaw on it. I have mixed feelings about this place, and maybe it's because I'm in my 40s, the food was fine, but I found the in person restaurant experience pretty obnoxious. I went to Dave's one night recently by myself because there was a lot of hype around the place and I figured I'd have to wait since it was still fairly new. It was very busy (as anticipated), so the 25 minute wait wasn't really the issue, the issue in my personal experience was the service. I had heard great things about Dave's Hot Chicken in Omaha, so I took home some take-out today. My wife and I absolutely LOVED our meals. My wife had the #4 (1 slider with fries), while I had the #1 (2 tenders with fries). She had her heat lite mild, while I chose extra hot for my chicken. Had to try the new (to Omaha) Dave's Hot Chicken and was not disappointed! Ordered two sliders - one mild and one medium - with fries. Absolutely delish! Loved the Dave's sauce! I will have to eat in sometime!

Gave Dave's a try today and it was great!! Customer service was amazing - Ekko was FABULOUS! They were busy and stayed positive. Chicken was tender and hot! I got hot level it had nice heat. I also tried the cheese fries and those were great too!
