I placed a catering order last night for 12pm pick up. I'm literally standing here watching a line full of people get their food as I wait for the order that I placed yesterday. The response from the staff is that my order is too big. I placed it yesterday!!! No logic to making me wait, and everyone else walks out with an order that they just placed. Now I have an office that will miss their lunch break. No concession whatsoever.

Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the customer service was good. The chicken was over cooked and the bread is entirely too small for the big piece of chicken, which makes the chicken just slide out of the bread. So it's really like a piece of chicken with a roll on the side. Even so, I ordered medium and thought it would be a little spicy but there wasn't a hint of spice on there. Probably won't be going back as it was also pricey.

I did not enjoy them at all. The workers were very nice and the service was fast but the chicken was nasty. It tastes like they just dumped the tenders in a bin of cayenne pepper and paprika, no other seasoning. They were also expensive for such small tenders. I would not return.

Dave's hot chicken? More like, dave's extremely below average chicken. We stopped by at around 8:30 and noticed that the line was huge so we figured we'd order online and go shopping for a bit. Our order was ready by 9:19. When we stepped in we saw how well decorated the restaurant was, it had a lot of colorful stuff on the walls and neon signs. Pretty cool! Service wasn't bad, my food was a huge NOOOO. We got the chicken tenders and it was so loaded with the rub and all we tasted was brown sugar. I was scrapping it off, I would never go there again. Wish I had a picture, I took so much rub I could of used it on a whole chicken.

Was excited to try Dave's after having tried (and enjoyed) Byrd's Hot Chicken down the street. Sadly, I was left underwhelmed by the food (although the service was good). While I would not expect any fried food to not be greasy, it seemed Dave's was very greasy, to the point where it took away from the flavor. was excited to try but ended up disappointed. when i arrived the line was literally out the door along the sidewalk but the workers seemed to be moving pretty fast. chicken is juicy but outside does not taste good at all tastes just like paprika & cayenne pepper to me, fries were bland sprickled with again what tastes like paprika & cayenne pepper (i loved the pickles tho so good so crunchy). service however is great we were immediately greeted and acknowledged from the time we walked in the door to the counter & on the way ... read more
