TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I ordered delivery via Grubhub...I ordered the two tender meal with fries. I added cheese sauce, but it was forgotten in the order. The first thing I noticed was there weren't a lot of french fries and the chicken tenders were very RED. I ordered the heat as "medium." It ended up being hot still. They put the chicken on pieces of white bread. I don't understand that; I would have preferred the bread to have been toasted a little bit instead of just dry bread. We ordered delivery and was delighted to try and enjoy a new way to enjoy chicken. We had the sandwich and tenders at different levels of heat. The chicken is prepared with a nice, spiced based coating with additional sauce on the side. Mild was great and medium had enough of a heat bite for us. Smaller amount of fries than we are used to, but enough all the same. Will return! Great add to the area.
Sooooo good. Chicken was juicy, the flavors were powerful. The coleslaw sweetness combined with the flavor of the chicken made for a great salty/sweet combo.
Went there last Friday or Saturday! Food was good and everyone working was so nice and friendly. Would go again.
I have ordered online from here twice now. Even when super busy, my order was ready within 10 minutes. The employees have been very friendly on both visits. I have tried the hot & medium sauces so far & hot has a good kick! The fries and Mac & cheese are both excellent as well.
Ordered online on a Saturday and it was literally done in 4 minutes. Everything was delicious. I got one hot that made my head sweat a little (in the best way possible) and one medium. I'll be back for the reaper!
It's definitely bussin. The service is really good and they are quick. Although they are stingy with the fries so if you love fries be sure to order an additional side. I definitely recommend trying this place!
So happy Dave's opened by us. We ordered online to avoid any waiting or busy rush. Good idea only took ten min to pickup. The service was great with polite workers. The food was phenomenal. The chicken is great. The spice is amazing and so is the sauce and fries with the seasoning,. We ordered two days in a row it was so good. We will be back
This place is good...I don't eat a lot of fried food but these tenders are seasoned well and delicious. The fries are really good too. I ordered online through their website...easy peasie...and the order was ready fast. I didn't stay in the dining area but it looked nice. The staff was super nice and helpful. Way better than Byrds up the street...Daves is the way to go.
