This review is for Dave's Hot Chicken in general, not just this location. There are two types of people: (1) people who like ghost pepper chicken from Popeyes or hot wings from KFC and (2) people who like Nashville hot chicken. I'm in the former group. The chicken here is great, but it doesn't have that spice profile that keeps me coming back. What I got when I went here: fries (amazing), Dave's sauce (good) and tenders (pretty good). Dave's Hot Chicken 4 stars The food is delicious. The fries are crunchy. Don't have much seasoning. Doesn't need much. They're perfect. The bread is soft. The breading on the fried chicken is crunchy. The meat is soft. The cheese is really beautiful. Pickles add a sourness which is refreshing. I love the art design. Dave's Hot Chicken was really good! The chicken was crispy, juicy, and had a lot of flavor. The fries and sauce were good too. Definitely worth trying if you like spicy chicken. 9/10!

This place was so clean and nice the ac was on on this hot day and it felt so refreshing and made me feel better the cashier was so helpful

Been here a few times and the food is great. I always get the Dave's NOT CHICKEN (cauliflower). Love that they have a vegetarian option. My only gripe is that the place is always filled with high school kids that don't even order anything. They just hang out and take up the tables or go there to use the restroom. Oh and the homeless love to use the restroom there as well. I guess l that's DTLA for ya....

Great spot for hot chicken! The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and had just the right amount of spice. The fries were seasoned well and came out hot, and the staff was friendly and got my order out quickly. The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.
