Dave's hot chicken is great! The service was incredible and the workers are very kind. The restaurant and bathrooms were both very clean.
Quick, lively. The hot is hot! They medium first. No frills. Just good *fast food*. The sauce isn't anything special. The chicken is tender. Fries quite salty. Nice change from a burger.
Dave's has the best hot chicken sandwiches I've ever had! It's so disappointing to me that I didn't know about it for so long but I'm glad to have one close to home that's in a plaza with a big parking lot. My hubby and I typically share their combo with the two sandwiches and fries. I get mine medium since I'm terrible with spice, but it wasn't too spicy for me. Today was free slider day and it was super packed. The service was good, the store was clean, and was well-managed for the amount of people there. However, when I opened my slider, I found some sort of label in the slider. I'm glad that it was free and they were rushing, but I don't think that that was supposed to be in the sandwich. It tasted fine; I still ate it because I already got home by the time I opened it, but the thought of having some random label in the sandwich gave me an icky feeling. The store had really fun vibes and the food was really good. The service was very relaible and I will definitely be coming back here.
This place was ok. I mean the chicken isn't terrible and came out hot and fresh. Fries had definitely been cooked earlier and not freshly made. That said, my biggest complaint is the cost vs benefit issue. The outrageous price point ($18) should mean you get the world's best chicken and fries and that is absolutely not happening here. I was in the restaurant at 12:15pm and it was basically empty except for 2 other tables and so I don't expect they will be around for much longer.
