TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

The food was great and well-priced. Service was also great. Restaurant was clean and there was a lot of space to sit.
A lot of people have been hyping this place up, so i finally had the chance to try it out at lunch with some coworkers on a Sunday. This place did get busy, but there is both indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was friendly and quick with ordering. Sliders- got the Hot and it hits you instantly. Sliders taste much better than tenders, combination with pickles coleslow and sauce tastes much better. Got my order for takeout. I had the #3 which had fries, sandwhich, and tender both at medium spice. Love that the protein was larger than the carbs. Good flavor and slight crunch to it. The fries were okay, will definitely ask for more well done but overall enjoyable paired with their sauce.
