With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Boston Market, Popeye's, and now Dave's! How much chicken can you handle? Sandwich was okay. Got medium spice along with the crinkle cut fries. No big pros or cons. I guess it might be fun to try the Carolina Reaper, but honestly what happens when the hype runs out. I perfer popeye's and it is a better deal. In the back of my mind setting up shop next to a couple other chicken place doesn't seem like a smart business move, but maybe that's how it works in the food industry. Good luck.

If you are feeling some hot chicken sandwiches, then you should give this a try. This is a chain restaurant that serves many different spiciness levels of hot chicken. I think it is pretty decently solid for almost tasting the original back in California. Service is really fast and efficient for a fast food place.

I love a good spicy chicken sandwich and have had many from different shops through Massachusetts. None of them left me in tears like the reaper at Dave's. 10/10 will not try that level of spice again but it was a fun adventure.

I know they just opened so I am trying to keep an open mind to this specific location, however the Woburn location is far better. I don't know what it is about the chicken here but it's way to thick and tough. Maybe they use a different vendor but the chicken quality is subpar to Woburn. Something to consider, management.
