As others have observed, if you don't order spice level on the chicken it's on the bland side, as they don't season with salt. The flavor is in the spice rub. Great portion of chicken however and the fries are tasty. The service was prompt and courteous.

I don't ever review fast food restaurants. This is an exception. It was just a really nice experience. I've never had Dave's Hot Chicken before and the woman at the register was super friendly and nice helping me pick out something that I would enjoy. She made suggestions and ensured I had plenty of sauces and ketchup and that I tried the honey. The chicken came out hot and crispy (so did the fries). I am not a big fan of their chicken. To me it's very dry and they just douse it in the hot powder. Not a fan.

I'm not gonna come here and gag you like the Youtubers and TikTokers who scream up and down this Dave chicken is the best best chicken in the whole wide world because it's really not without the sauce you are loss! It is very red and you would think that the red has a kick or some taste to it but no, it's like a bland Red paste but when you dip it in that sauce, everything changes!!! The chicken is tender.
