I personally love daves hot chicken and this location is pretty good too. The staff is oka, this lady there could be rude sometimes. Its clean inside and bathrooms are clean too.

We ordered Daves #2 and #3 and they were cooked perfectly and yummy!! The tenders were juicy and huge! Priced right for the size of the meal. This is such a great place to hang out with friends or family. Awesome music selection (different genres from different time periods) the restaurant is very clean, especially the bathrooms, and excellent customer service from the friendly and helpful ladies at the counter, Sofia, Rosario, and Pet! Highly recommend the El Cerrito location to enjoy your Dave's chicken!!

With all of the "fried chicken" establishments opening up, comparing can get a bit repetitive. With that being said, I prefer Krispy Krunchy. Now that's not to say Dave's is not good because I love Krispy Krunchy. I'm just not a fan of how the chicken is fried. The bun on my slider was cold. I paid around $55 for what you see (chocolate milkshake and 2 small sodas not pictured) and the best part was the fries. The service was decent and the ambiance was great. Love the choice of music being played.

I love that this Dave's Hot chicken chain is halal certified, and has their certification up. The food is pretty good and a yummy place if you want something spicy and quick. I would say that they have decreased the portion sizes by a lot since they first opened, which is a bummer considering the prices have gone up.... Staff has been helpful Everytime I have been, clean seating.

i went to daves hot chicken with low expectations and there was a young feller behind the counter who really made my day, i dropped my cane and he came around and helped me up. then on the way out he heaped me to my car. Told me his name is Pedro so please give him a raise or keep him around

I finally got a chance to try this place, and it did not disappoint. Hands down, some of the best chicken I've had. The service was incredibly fast we've done takeout a few times, but next time, we're definitely dining in to check out the vibe.

They are really the under ground of the Bay area. I see the competition with hot boys. To me they taste totally different. Enjoyed the spicy chicken, will be back. Thank you
