So glad to see a Dave's in Edmond. Mostly because I don't have to deal with the downtown parking. It's still the same great taste, staff, and decor. The only thing I wish this location had is a covered patio. I'm not sure if the nuggets are a new menu item but they are so incredibly delicious. Make sure to snag those if you haven't tried them!

For Oklahoma hot chicken, this place is great. I've traveled a bit and had hot chicken in other parts of the country that I preferred over DHC, but this place hits the spot. I'd say the slider is much more akin to a sandwich than a slider. When I think slider, I usually have 2-3 and it's just the right amount. These "sliders" are huge and from now on, I'll just be getting one and maybe a tender if I'm super hungry. The meal needs acid to best complement the spice. I like to order extra pickles. On our way back from Texas, we stopped in to see what all the rave was about. Here is our experience: Location: 9/10 D.H.C is located in what seemed like a suburb in OK, right off the highway. I thought it was a cool spot with ample parking, and it seems like a newer location. Customer Service 8.5/10 We ate in and it is mainly counter service. They give you a number after you order. Really good. With the Chicken Wars going on this is a good alternative to the usual. Better and nicer than most chicken restaurants. Better than the chicken shacks chicken but not the ambiance. Worth checking out.

This was my first visit to a Dave's Hot Chicken restaurant, I really enjoyed the service and food. The chicken strip and sandwich were very good. I would definitely order from here again.
