TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I had an amazing experience at Dave's Hot Chicken, and Gavin was incredibly helpful in guiding me through the menu. The chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy, with just the right amount of spice. I opted for the "hot" level, and it was definitely a flavorful kick without being too much. Gavin made sure my order was exactly how I wanted it, and the service overall was quick and friendly
Delicious, watch your back Canes there a new great chicken in town. Come in if you havent, surely you find just your right "hot chicken" . All size of meals, from just a bite to literally ping in chicken. Really good taste, the fries are fantastic. The given that Dave's sauce. It is the perfect dip. Crispy sliced dill pickles.
Exceptional service. Excellent food. Great and inviting atmosphere. What else can I say? This place is a must-go. My friend and I went and met this amazing man named Josh. He was very well-spoken and made us feel at home and got us right. Whenever you have the time, spend it here.
Pleasant experience ordering a lot of food here to go and everything being correct! Chicken tenders were juicy and flavorful. Kids loved the sliders. Fries were good...I am sure even better when eating them right away. Service was fast and quite friendly. I would definitely come back.
This was my first time here and I will admit I did not have high hopes……BUT WOW!!!! This was one of the best chicken sandwiches (they call it the slider) I have ever had! The flavors were so balanced with the kale slaw, the pickles, and I added cheese! I got the hot chicken breast and it was so juicy and tender. I did a pickup order and the employees were all very friendly and helpful, especially when I told them this was my first time there. Just fantastic!
