TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

From start to finish had an awesome experience. The new gm Tammy is a Rockstar. My food came out steaming and she made sure I got everything I needed. Will definitely be coming back!
There was a little misunderstanding during the checkout and the manager Ms. Wonderful Tammy was so nice towards me and my cousin, we will definitely be coming back soon!! And the food was amazing, per usual.

Got the opportunity to visit this place today, i heard about it a few months ago. I got the mini sliders and i will say the portion was very small, my friend got one tender and one slider and that was a big portion, the taste of the food was good the sauce that comes with it tastes good and fries are well seasoned, they have different levels of hotness which is nice. i think is slightly overpriced but that's my personal opinion. Service was good, the place was clean and with plenty of room. I will come back for sure.

I've stopped in for lunch here many times and this chicken is the closest to original Nashville hot style chicken that I've found in the area. It's my go to when I need some really spicy chicken. Tammy took my order and she was incredibly nice and made my day. She also came by later to check on how all my food was. Definitely recommend this place! EDIT to say my only knock is that they randomly have or don't have cauliflower bites. My gf, who is a vegetarian, loved these....but she never knows if she can come to eat with me... read more
