We went to Dave's Hot Chicken which just opened yesterday in Holly Springs. It's in the former Mason Jar Tavern location. There is ample parking and an outdoor patio with tables. Hopefully they put some patio heaters outside as it would help with more seating when it's chilly outside. It was very busy naturally. The line was out of the door and around to the patio area. So awesome that they now have a Dave's Hot Chicken here in Holly Springs, NC!! It's right next to Target & Tzatziki's. Definitely arrive earlier than you think as there is a line out the door. Inside the area is open with tall ceilings. There are around 15 tables of various sizes & a side bar area where people can sit. Outside has multiple tables as well. Extremely disappointing service. We were in the middle of eating our food when the manager walked up and abruptly asked us to leave because they were closing in 15 minutes. Instead of letting us finish our meal, she asked us to stop halfway through, pack up our food, and leave. The lack of hospitality was absolutely pathetic.

Chicken fingers are usually good and consistent at this location as I have been a few times. Could use a deep clean at this one. Stopped in here last night for a quick bit to eat. Food was great but service was an issue. I usually tip a couple dollars at these type places (not 20%) as the do not bring your food out or pick up your plates. It's a do it yourself type place and that's fine but I'm not going to give you 20% tip for nothing. Our bill was like $41ish. Finally tries Dave's Hot Chicken.. wasn't worth the wait. Ordered bites and fries. Got the bites but negative on the fries. Also ordered a milkshake but it was overflowing all over the place and barely any Oreo. Lots of better places in the area. My first visit is probably my last.

Dave's hot chicken was overpriced and just not worth it in my opinion. We came to order the fallout's new promo, and they didn't really have much advertisements on it.So it was a bit awkward to order. The special comes with a little like toy thing to use sauce on it.But they didn't provide the sauce.So it kind of made it irrelevant.So we paid for the over price toy for nothing. Food is mediocre. The service is extremely slow. Over priced. Paid 31$ for 2 people. Drinks do not come with meals and your given extremely small water cups that almost break every time you try to get ice. Bread is not even toasted or buttered, just plain bread. Do not recommend

Waited 40 min for our food and got the wrong order. When we got our correct order it was not hot temperature wise or heat level. Was not impressed at all. Everything looked dirty and there was barely anyone actually working.

First impression = dirty tables everywhere. I asked for the hottest/spiciest wings they had. They had me sign a waiver. The wings were Quite underwhelming, didn't even make me sweat. 2/10 in the heat scale. When I mentioned this to the gal at the counter, she got a bit wide eyed and reiterated how hot and spicy those wings must be. Shook my head. The fact that there was trash on the floors and the difficulty finding a clean table is enough to keep me from coming back.
