Well, I gotta give these people a five star and I've yet to eat there yet because the lines are out the door and around the corner to get in this place from 11 AM and then also dinner time I've tried three different times to go there and all three times the line was around the corner which is absolutely crazy. I was excited to see a new chicken place opening in the Holly Springs area, DHC took over the spot where Mason Jar used to be. As for the food, it was delicious and well worth the wait for the food. I got the 2 tinders with fries combo, and it was plenty to fill me up. I know w tinders don't sound like much, but these tinder are a good hunk of chicken. As for sauces, I got the extra hot and reaper since I'm a big hot sauce guy, and the term "reaper" is tossed around so easily these days. Let's just say this reaper sauce... read more

Went and tried it today (Monday). It opened last Friday and has been really busy since. I tried to go yesterday @ 2:00pm and the line was out the door, so I moved on. Today I tried again @ 11:30am and the line was only to the door this time lol. Service was counter based. Outside of waiting in line due to busyness, once I got to the counter and ordered, it was pretty quick and accurate-ish after that. We went to Dave's Hot Chicken which just opened yesterday in Holly Springs. It's in the former Mason Jar Tavern location. There is ample parking and an outdoor patio with tables. Hopefully they put some patio heaters outside as it would help with more seating when it's chilly outside. It was very busy naturally. The line was out of the door and around to the patio area. So awesome that they now have a Dave's Hot Chicken here in Holly Springs, NC!! It's right next to Target & Tzatziki's. Definitely arrive earlier than you think as there is a line out the door. Inside the area is open with tall ceilings. There are around 15 tables of various sizes & a side bar area where people can sit. Outside has multiple tables as well. Finally tries Dave's Hot Chicken.. wasn't worth the wait. Ordered bites and fries. Got the bites but negative on the fries. Also ordered a milkshake but it was overflowing all over the place and barely any Oreo. Lots of better places in the area. My first visit is probably my last.

Dave's hot chicken was overpriced and just not worth it in my opinion. We came to order the fallout's new promo, and they didn't really have much advertisements on it.So it was a bit awkward to order. The special comes with a little like toy thing to use sauce on it.But they didn't provide the sauce.So it kind of made it irrelevant.So we paid for the over price toy for nothing. Food is mediocre. The service is extremely slow. Over priced. Paid 31$ for 2 people. Drinks do not come with meals and your given extremely small water cups that almost break every time you try to get ice. Bread is not even toasted or buttered, just plain bread. Do not recommend

Waited 40 min for our food and got the wrong order. When we got our correct order it was not hot temperature wise or heat level. Was not impressed at all. Everything looked dirty and there was barely anyone actually working.
