TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Angelo catered to me during my visit. He was exceptional! 10/10. Food was fresh. I ordered the reaper thinking it wasn’t going to be spicy but mind you it was HOT! My mouth was on fire. It was a great experience. Only downside was the restaurant is small so there wasn’t much seating availability.
We ordered through uber eats. The delivery just took 10mins and the fries were soggy when it came. I ordered hot chicken sandwich but it wasn’t spicy at all, it’s actually pretty salty. The Kaleslaw was okay, a bit too pricy for the portion. I also ordered the mini chicken sandwich for my daughter and she liked it(this one is not as salty as the hot chicken sandwich). Angela, the cashier, was phenomenal. What a great smile and very attentive. This was my first occasion to come in to the restaurant and I was not disappointed. How often do you hear the cashier tell you their name in case you have any questions! Entire staff looked like they were having a good time working together. I will definitely be back, and oh yeah, the nut chicken was phenomenal. Glad to see somebody’s catering to our vegan Desires :-)
The chicken tenders at this place never disappoints. Way worth the price because it’s huge and juicy! Service is great and the restaurant is really clean. Definitely worth a visit!
There is a reason the front staff doesn't wear name tags, and it's because they are completely awful at their job. The wait time for 2 chicken sandwiches was 24 minutes. The chicken was mostly veins and gummy textured with a sour taste. When the piece of untoasted bread on the bottom of the container is the best part of your meal, you know the food was bad.
