The food was good something new , and it was my first time ordering from Dave’s which my son recommended . The girl at the front cashier was very friendly and generous 5 ⭐️ to her . The seating area inside was very small and out seating area was ok . The new meal on the menu was recommended by the front girl and was the best 😋thank you . The portion for the meals are a bit less imo and would be great if they could add some more chicken on the new item like 8 pcs instead of 6 and the tenders add a piece more instead of 2 .... read more

Dave’s Hot Chicken is so good! It’s really consistent and always perfectly fried and juicy. I come here every so often with my godson and we always have a good time. I do purposefully try to come at odd times though because it can get quite busy. That said, they’ve improved their wait times I’ve noticed. My favorite order here is the single tender (hot level) with fries add kale slaw. It’s honestly enough food for anyone to feel full. Hot is a good level, though very hot is tolerable as well. Once you enter the area is small and cramped. All eyes on you. As a first timer it was nerve racking and fast paced. The guy taking our order was not sensitive to that. He was sarcastic and impatient. The online orders were kicked out fast. That's the best way to go. We sat for 20-30mins to get food. Family of four was an 80$ order. The food was good. The fries are the best I had recently. Mild was the spice for me. My daughter got hot and I had to switch with her. Choose heat level wisely.

My sister and I are taking a trip to San Diego and ate here. When we picked up our order, the person that gave us our food was very sweet and asked if we wanted extra sauce. Also, the atmosphere was very clean, including the bathroom as well. It was also so yummy that I will be coming back again with my sister because the food was well seasoned and the food was fresh, and their sauce was very delicious with sandwiches.

Just not too great. The girl working the front was probably the best part as she took her time to make sure everything was correct. First issue was the soda machine had zero carbonation for all options. Second, the fries weren’t too great, a tad room temperature. Third, the skin on the chicken really didn’t stick as much as one would expect. The heat level was okay and the flavor was just fine. Also, nowhere to sit inside. Just too expensive for such mid fare.
