TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Daves Hot Chicken is delicious. Emily was an amazing in helping me choose what to order!!!
The chicken here is juicy and crunchy, with so much flavor. I got two sliders medium spice and it was the perfect level of spice. The buns and pickles were also delicious. The art on the walls is very cool and all San Diego related. It's a very chill place and the employees are always very nice and attentive, even when they are busy. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because it takes quite a long time to get your food. I had to wait for 45 minutes to get one meal and others around me had waited longer.
went into DHC today and experienced amazing food, amazing customer service and got to witness a customer being horribly rude and impatient with the staff, but that didn't stop them from being super patient and understanding, as well as accommodating, the staff always has such great attitudes, and they're always pushing out great food, my husband and i always look forward to coming here!
The food was good as always and my tender was perfectly coated in the seasoning. We came when it wasn't too busy and the service was great. Esmeralda was so kind and patient with us. We wished there was more inside seating but we got lucky the weather was nice!
Decided to check out this new location. Went during a weekday afternoon. There was no wait when I arrived. Barely any indoor seating, like 2 tables and few outdoor tables. There's music playing outside so I couldn't hear my order so I kept having to walk back in and out to check. Food was decent at this location. My friend and I both got the same thing but her chicken was smaller than mines so I'm not sure about the consistency. I usually go to the Mira Mesa one and still think that location is better.
Not really that good, I mean it was tasty but I wouldn't say that impressive. Maybe after it settles since it's a new establishment. (even though it was an online order) Maybe the long wait in line had a negative effect. My two cents
I have so give a huge shoutout to Angela S at the front counter. Her customer service skills were on point. She was so bubbly and friendly. I ordered a sandwich with extra pickles and oh boy did I get a lot of pickles Also she recommended that I mix the Dave's sauce with honey to dip my fries in. Wow, it was delicious and I even poured some on my sandwich. If there is an employee of the month at this location Angela S deserves it!
I tried my first cauliflower Patty at daves hot chicken newest mission valley location. The staff was so friendly and had great food recommendations. They also had a cute blowup sign outside for their new location which was super photogenic. What we had: 1 CAULIFLOWER SLIDER W/ FRIES served with kale slaw, pickles and Dave's sauce 1 TENDER + 1 SLIDER W/ FRIES tender served with sliced bread, pickles and Dave's sauce slider served with kale slaw, pickles and Dave's sauce
Delicious and great service, first timer and I will defend be back friendly staff thanks so much
