TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Everything was really nice and clean. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was fresh. Will definitely be coming back here in the near future.
Had a chance to try this brand in Oregon, and hubby was excited to see locations in San Diego. Decided to give this place a go. The yelp ratings were lower for this one than the one in PB. Upon arrival, there was a handful of people waiting, and I did notice 2 stand-alone stations for ordering but wished to be helped at the front. really good. the sauce was perfect and complimented the chicken the service was good and waiter was really nice. the inside of the restaurant was very appealing.
Tender tasty chicken with just enough heat. Though their sandwiches and fries are flavorful and tasty, my favorite are Dave's hot bites. I get the medium heat. I love that they serve it with pickles and Dave's hot sauce on a piece of bread. Their chicken also taste awesome with the honey as well. Pickles are the perfect foil for the heat ... Good prices. service can be a little bit slow when there are busy. Usually upon opening at 11 AM, they are a bit slow because they get big orders for lunch.
The cashier was so helpful and awesome and nice. I already love Dave's Hot Chicken but Emily was awesome. great customer service from her!
I love that they have a vegetarian option! Food was super good. Had a super sweet cashier named Emily who helped answer all of our questions and was so nice! Great workers and great food!

Chicken is so freaking good. Seasoning is always on point. I usually get the extra hot, but I also tried the reaper tender which will definitely make u sweat and might cause some suffering but it's not too crazy because Emily will be right there to comfort u. She's super nice and has a friendly attitude. Definitely goated with the sauce. Alright, Scott out.
I'm always super indecisive when ordering so thanks Emily for your patience and recommendations! Today was my first time at Dave's but I was welcomed like a regular customer and everything was delicious. I'll definitely be back soon!
