Chicken is so freaking good. Seasoning is always on point. I usually get the extra hot, but I also tried the reaper tender which will definitely make u sweat and might cause some suffering but it's not too crazy because Emily will be right there to comfort u. She's super nice and has a friendly attitude. Definitely goated with the sauce. Alright, Scott out.
I'm always super indecisive when ordering so thanks Emily for your patience and recommendations! Today was my first time at Dave's but I was welcomed like a regular customer and everything was delicious. I'll definitely be back soon!

It's our first time visiting Dave's Hot Chicken! I have seen their stores opening up all around San Diego, but haven't gotten the chance to try yet until the new mission valley store opened. I was very surprised by how busy they were on a Friday early evening around 530 pm. There were probably 15 people waiting for their orders. Very tiny place with maybe 2 tables and some outdoor seating. The waiting area to pick up your order is very tight. I've been wanting to try this spot for a while now and am glad I did, but I won't be returning. Prices are fair. But I've had better chicken sandwiches. The slider is a decent size but the flavor of the (mild) chicken itself has an unusual sweet after taste that I wasn't expecting. The mac & cheese is basic. This was so buss, brotha at the front gave us a free slider! Rizz! My girlfriend busted a nut and the floor got all wet, but they put down a wet floor sign instantly! I recommend!
Dave's is great food and provides excellent service quality. Emily is the best and the food always hits different. The spice level medium is a great balance with a shake.
