We visited early on a Friday night, approx 5:40pm, there were two parties in line ahead of us when we ordered. We found a table immediately but waited nearly 30 minutes for our food. When my husband went up to ask what was taking so long... he was just offered a slushy, which he declined. By the time we got our food, the restaurant was packed, no available tables and the line to order was out the door. (HALAL FOOD ALERT!!) We had an amazing experience at Dave's Hot Chicken! The food was absolutely delicious. We were excited to find a halal restaurant while visiting family in Ohio. I went with the mild spice slider with fries, and it was the perfect balance of flavor and seasoning without being too spicy. My husband went for the reaper tender and an extra hot tender, which were exactly the level of heat he was looking for. The food was really good, but the small portions and steep prices made us not likely to go back. Our kids who love spice loved the spicy chicken!

Food : Delicious Service: pretty quick if not impersonal ambience: it's a chicken joint: Honestly the mid attitudes from some of the wait staff is whatever because the chicken makes up for it: it's always been hot, correct and delicious and it's brought us back a few times as a regular chicken spot. The only issue we have is the laughable drink sizes considering how hot some of of the chicken is. Offer bottles of water or larger cups, also napkins seem to be rare, they either don't give you any or give you 5. Other t... read more
