Dave’s Hot Chicken is becoming one of my favorite chains. Their cauliflower “chicken” is incredible. Really crispy, crunchy, and delicious. I love that they have the vegetarian options, definitely keeps me coming back. The only reason this location didn’t get the full 5 stars is because their “Extremely Spicy” spice level was pretty mild. Trying Dave’s Hot Chicken for the 1st time… it was pretty tasty. It was a bit hectic during pick up but the employees were calm and helpful in accommodating people and their questions. Once I received my food I was also given plenty of sauces. The food was prepared well. My guys loved the food. They said The chicken tasted very good. It was tender and delicious. I had a small issue and I notified the establishment and they were responsive and apologized.
Portions were quite large. The chicken was moist with a crunchy batter. I tried the medium. It was good. It smelled of chili peppers, The heat was as expected. Next time I will try a hotter variety, as I like spicy food
Here I go, the jerk of a food reviewer. Where do I start… first off, I go to the Bustleton location primarily when I go to Dave’s (they’re way better). The sandwich I got today was laughable. Smallest piece of chicken I’ve ever seen come from a Dave’s chicken slider. They’re usually good size pieces of chicken(NOT TODAY). Wow, I just saw this place was open and thought I would try it. There is utter chaos in this place. First, you can't hear anything because it's an echo chamber and they have (bad) music playing full blast. There are two lines but the employees yell at the customers to get in one for cash or card. The manager is yelling at the employees and it's a veritable clusterfudge. How many people are back there in the kitchen? I am actually still in the place waiting over 15 minutes for "fast food."
