So, I finally hit up Dave's Hot Chicken, and it totally lived up to the hype. I went for the combo with a tender and a slider, but heads up, one is probably enough unless you're starving, it was a ton of food for lunch! Food was great! Fresh, hot, and was fast! Chicken was super crispy and cooked great. Fries were excellent. The mac and cheese was kinda meh, but overall great time.
Good place to go for most people. My issue is they don't have any option for grilled chicken. My body can't handle fried food.

The person working the cash register today didn't greet us with anything more than a blank stare, didn't ask what we wanted or say literally anything. When we payed they silently circled our number on the receipt and handed it us and walked away. Food was great though! The front counter people are definitely customers first impressions and just a reminder that a smile can go a long way!
After all the hype online of this place we decided to give it a try after waiting a couple of months. We went in, staff were friendly and seemed like a good establishment especially with people looking happy and enjoying their food, the line never truly stopped. Stopped by for lunch and to our surprise they were pretty crowded late afternoon and seemed to have a constant line. Staff did an excellent job keeping it moving. Our meals came out relatively quick despite the crowds. We ordered chicken tender meal (mild) and the chicken slider meal (medium), for our taste the medium heat was perfect, might try a step up next time.
