Love Dave's! We first had it out of town on vacation and were very excited when they opened one here. I know everyone has their preference on tenders, Dave's is my favorite! They also moved very fast for his busy they were!

There was line all the way outside of the building and around the corner at Dave's Hot Chicken. I loved the decor. It was packed. The places was extremely busy. The young lady the took my order was very polite. Other workers were very courteous. I ordered the chicken slider. I chose medium heat. The chicken was spicy. It appeared to me me it was seasoned with chili peppers seasoning. The cheese fries were very good. Fruit Punch slushy was good. Thecfood came quick to my surprise. I enjoyed everything.

Basing it only in comparison to other places like this in the area, it was excellent! The chicken is like literal friend chicken off the bone. Delicious White meat soft and moist! An abundance of pickles on my sandwich (I did mild) Dave's secret sauce, kale slaw and a bit of honey on top, magnificent!!!! We waited about 15 outside then another 25 inside until we ordered. Dave's Hot Chicken opened 7/11/25 I believe and we came 7/14/25. OMG the line was so long. It was wrapped around the back of the building. Is say we waiting about 45 minutes until we were able to order then another 15 to get our food. It wasn't so bad but it was humid outside. The staff managing the door and lines was very friendly. I visited Dave's Hot Chicken on opening day 7/11/2025. Upon arrival there were huge crowds about 100 deep wrapped around the outside corner, and friendly employees working the crowd while handing out plastic chickens and menus. The line went relatively quick, given the crowd, it took about 15 minutes to get to the counter and 5 minutes to receive food. The chicken was delicious. I bought for my staff and tried no spice, mild, and medium. All were cooked well in a timely fashion. The fries were super good too, I would always go for extra seasoning! Even the pickles on the side were great! The interior was clean and they were very busy!

This is just as good as the one's in LA! Low wait times, even during the grand opening with a line going around the building.

Finally tried Dave's Hot Chicken for the first time and honestly did not feel it was worth the hype. I think this is really just geared for people that just want to try the hottest chicken possible without appreciation for flavor. The service was great, the people very friendly and more than willing to talk you through the menu, the restaurant was clean and ambiance was nice, but for me the food is the most important thing when going out to eat. The chicken tender itself was great but the seasoning was awful. It gave me such bad indigestion, I had the mild level for reference. Maybe I just don't like the powder seasoning. Not sure but I would definitely not be going back for that.
