Our order got a little mixed up. 1 ordered the #1 medium and my wife ordered the #4 extra hot. My first piece was medium and my wife's single piece was medium. My second piece was extra hot. It was too late to change it, as 2/3 was eaten, and they were very busy so I didn't want to wait to fix it. The food was good but the extra hot was too hot for me. They should take more care serving the right food to the right customer, especially when they can serve extra hot or especially reaper hot.

A Dave's Hot Chicken spot recently opened within the area, so I had to try it out! We went on a weekday afternoon, and surprisingly it was not as busy and crowded as I had heard it to be. The place was very casual, family-friendly, and had plenty of space for dining. We waited in line for about 20 minutes until we reached the counter to order. OK, we tried to go here once for dinner and the line was so long and with it being so hot we decided to try the next day for lunch. When we went for lunch, the line was relatively short and we were able to get in line in order within five minutes. The app M mobile ordering was not working at this time. My kids loved both meals that they got. Definitely worth checking out.

A humble beginning with just $900 and a fryer in a parking lot to a thriving franchise, is now in STL! I got Dave's #2 Medium Spice, along with the perfectly balanced spice levels, slaw, and pickles, seem to really hit the mark, and the halal certification adds an extra layer of comfort. Must visit chicken place! The staff is working really hard with such a big crowd! Thank you for making the experience smooth! The graffiti in the restaurant is cool and adds a nice touch as well!

Hubby and I have been wanting to try DHC since they opened. Upon arriving, I noticed how busy and crowded they were, But it didn't stop us from going. There was a line wrapped around the building, but it moved pretty quick. Once you make it to the door, there is a working standing there to let you in. The food ordering line was long, but moved quick. This stretch of Chesterfield Airport Rd is filled with seemingly abandoned, anachronistic-looking chain restaurants. Some of them have clearly gone out of business. In some cases, the lunch rush may not have started yet. It's 11 AM on a Wednesday. Dave's Hot Chicken, meanwhile, has a line out the door. It's 400 degrees outside, and some of their more inconsiderate patrons are entirely unconcerned that they're "letting all the cold air out." First time to this new location and first time to Dave's. Line has been out the door and around the building for first couple of weeks. I had #3 combo. "Hot" is hot enough that I don't care to go higher. My wife ordered "mild", and said she would go for "medium" next time. Good and juicy chicken. Decent crinkle fries. We prefer ketchup over dipping sauce. Sandwich was better flavor combination than just strip. Good value. $14 Combo meal is easily for 2 people to share. I like it but I do understand when others says it's hype. I will definitely be back but medium is the right spice for me. I went twice and got Hot the second time, never again lol the strawberry lemonade is awesome and definitely came in handy when I got the hot spice level. It's good but over priced as well
