Maybe the long lines raised our expectations too much but it was good, just not great... First the good: Staff great - very friendly Chicken - generous portions, juicy, lots of heat levels. Generous with sauces, pickles & etc. The baby sliders were perfect and adorable. The buns were Hawaiian bun sweet and delish. I got the no spice Bites with fries and I have now found a new favorite chicken place. My husband got the mild sliders and he's ready to go back and try the medium. Highly recommend

I have been to Daves twice, as of the writing of this review. Setting aside all of the hype and huge amount of people swarming to try it, I can say it was fantastic. The line was long, but it was moving constantly. The ordering process was simple (pro tip, get the app and look at the menu there before you order). The wait for the food was really short. This is the first Dave's location in the STL area and it has been absolutely packed ever since it first opened up. You can tell this location is well staffed, as our order came out pretty quickly. I ordered the Dave's #3 combo since I wanted to try a Tender and a Slider. I'd totally get this order again, as it's nice to be able to try both. Great new chicken spot! Great spice with good options. Love the amount of pickles. The tenders and sandwiches were super fresh and decent portion sizes. Service was quick. Milkshake machine was down at about 10-11pm (womp womp). Fries were crispy and well seasoned. No big knocks! Great location too. We'll be back ;)

This place is awesome! Love the chicken. The sliders were amazing with the slaw and pickles, such a great flavor. I got medium. It wasn't as hot as I expected. Definitely going with hot next time. Medium tasted like mild to me. Only thing I didn't love is the sauce. It was a bit too sweet. My wife and daughter did not love this place. They prefer Chick Fil A. I thought it was much better. Definitely want to go again. Though, it will likely just be me and the boy.

Our order got a little mixed up. 1 ordered the #1 medium and my wife ordered the #4 extra hot. My first piece was medium and my wife's single piece was medium. My second piece was extra hot. It was too late to change it, as 2/3 was eaten, and they were very busy so I didn't want to wait to fix it. The food was good but the extra hot was too hot for me. They should take more care serving the right food to the right customer, especially when they can serve extra hot or especially reaper hot.

A Dave's Hot Chicken spot recently opened within the area, so I had to try it out! We went on a weekday afternoon, and surprisingly it was not as busy and crowded as I had heard it to be. The place was very casual, family-friendly, and had plenty of space for dining. We waited in line for about 20 minutes until we reached the counter to order.
