The service was great.....At first. I'm a heavy set woman but I didn't feel that way when I went in to try on dresses. I felt beautiful! Isabella was the young lady who helped me find the dress of my dreams & she was fantastic. They are all knowledgeable about what looks good on brides, bridesmaids Etc...my only complaints would be that if you use their lay away plan, you only have 2 months to pay the remainder of your balance off. We bought a $200 dress with the help of Elle. Elle was the best part of the entire experience. She was helpful and kind and really thought outside of the box, which was encouraging during this otherwise stressful process. This dress was for my daughter's senior homecoming. She loved it and was very excited about the dance. As soon as she put the dress on to prepare for the evening, however, the straps broke. I have always gotten my dresses and alterations done here and I’ve always been happy with them. So when I had to buy a dress from a different store because that’s where the bride took us, I brought it here to have it altered. The alterations themselves are satisfactory, but the customer service was horrendous this time. I brought my dress to them sealed in the bag it came in, had my consult for alterations, and went back to pick it up last week. I showed up early, they were not ready for me yet so I sat down. Shay at the Eau Claire store was a nightmare. She started off the appointment by telling me that the dresses I liked on the website were all on clearance so if I wanted all the bridesmaids to be the same style, "it just wouldn't happen." Thanks I guess? When it came to getting the bridesmaids to try on dresses, she kept trying to get me to pick dresses that I didn't want. Today, I went to David'd Bridal to have my bridesmaid dress altered, and I was overall disappointed with the entire appointment. I received my dress months ago, and was advised by multiple employees at the store to wait until closer to the wedding to start alterations due to my pregnancy (understandable). Every time I would call and talk to someone about scheduling the alterations they kept advising to wait until about 2 weeks before the wedding. My beautiful niece purshased a wedding dress from David's bridal. Her dress literally fell apart at her reception. Poor quality in their stitching. Their customer service is horribly. I feel so bad for my niece. I wish there was something I could do for her right then and there. I'm sure she really was embarrassed. Boo David Bridals�
