Today myself, my aunt & my oldest daughter went wedding dress shopping. I made a appointment and all, was plenty early than my appt time. Our consultant pulled what they had that was on my favorites list only in bridal gowns, she didnt even pull any bridemaids dresses at all. I tries on about 6 of them, was unable to order the one my heart liked due to no longer being available. It was everything a bridal shopping experience shouldn't be. �
We had a poor experience. What should have been a happy occasion ended in tears as the staff was very inept and lacking in what is needed to run a great store. Would not recommend this Eau Claire store.
Bad! If there was an option for lower I would! 1) my wedding I came to try on dresses. EVERY SINGLE ONE I tried on "oh you look so pretty!" Like they were trying really hard to make a sale. 2) my wedding I had my girls order sashes. 1 of the bridesmaids sashes were deformed, she ordered another the 2nd was deformed! No time to order a 3rd... wich she shouldn't of had to do in the first place! 3) my best friend had her bridesmaids get their dresses from David's too. The atmosphere was cold/border line rude. Not bride to be friendly at all. The bride to be walked out in tears.
We were there last night and had horrible service! No seamstress on site, they had left for day, would not hold dress till this morning till a seamstress was available and it was last dress like it there. I asked about return policy and all sales are final. So we could not buy it to assure it would not be sold but did not know if a seamstress could alter it at this point either. Horrible customer service. Sent me hundreds of useless emails and never one stating that my dress colors were a limited time or when that time expired until it was too late. Now waiting 4 months for a dress. When I called to esquire about the color cut off date there was No apology, no compensation, just endless spam emails. The woman on the phone was rude and inappropriately sarcastic. Future brides do not waste the time or stress here.
I had called the day before I went and they told me the dress that I wanted there were a few of each size. So we spend almost a hr and a half driving and there is only one dress and it's to small. Good thing Myranda was with cause she asked the girl to look around maybe in a dressing room or just someplace else ? Well the girl went looking and found one!! She put it in the dressing room and she went off. Not to helpful . Put I did get the dress and I'm happy with it. And they have a lot to choose from .
