Actually we used Davis Windows. I can't remember exactly why we used them. They were recommended and I think they were in Best Pick Reports. Three men were here and I think they were finished in three or four hours, about three and a half hours. We have quite a few windows in our house. I think there were 12 windows that needed to be replaced and they cleaned up afterward. I thought they did a good job. I highly recommend Davis for window replacement work. They were very professional from start to finish. The price was not the lowest but it was fair for the quality of product and installation. The installers were very good and were clearly employees not subcontractors. The job site was left totally clean.
We had our windows done a while back. We had a big sunroom and I never used those windows out there. I went out one day and I wanted to open one of the windows and realized that the lock wasn't working. I called them up and they just came out and totally replaced the window. And this was years later. I heard about them through the Home Reports. I would give them an A+.
We've used them twice in different homes for total window replacement in both homes. They did the install one day and the painting for the exterior trim the second day. I would give them an A+. They were great. They've been solid. They offer a financing where you don't have to pay right away, which is nice. And if you pay it off in six months, you don't pay finance charges.
I used Davis Doors. They did a great job as well. They were very clean. They did the job top to bottom and it looked great. They left the job site looking in great order. I'd grade them an A as well. They put in a door wall for me, a sliding door.
