Friendly Good activities Well im sober. I stayed near the Rehab. Got connected to meetings.
I was very impressed that a lot of the staff were in recovery, so they could relate to what we were going thru. I felt I could talk to any of the staff if I was having problems/issues. Wonderful group of workers. The friends I met there, will be part of my life forever. They are all like family, great supporters and very caring. There was some disorganization, due to the merger of two rehab facilities while I was there. They are working thru the issues, so the disorganization should only be short term issue. Co-curring treatment options Med lines are always a mess I enjoyed my time there & have stayed sober did over a year after leaving DH.
Listening to clients needs but unorganized. I feel that the med line should be done differently. Sometimes it would take 2 hours to get medications
Experience of staff was a strength. Medicine pass and the food were weaknesses. Overall nice place to get treatment.
This facility is absolutely amazing! The staff are very professional and helped me so much. They have so much to offer at Desert Hope. The quality of groups, food, rooms, staff, activities are simply beyond 5 stars. Desert Hope saved my life. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was okay and well taken cared of at all time. The facility it self is beautiful. I'm clean thanks to Desert Hope!
The staff at Desert Hope was compassionate. I felt like I was in a place where it was safe to finally deal with unresolved issues and start my walk in recovery. Everyone genuinely cared. If you were willing to work, they'd match the effort you put in. A lot of the staff were in recovery themselves. There's nothing quite like being in a facility where the staff actually understand what you're going through. They met me where I was at and without them I wouldn't be where I am today.
