I was impressed with the communication from the start to the completion of the project. Estimates quickly received in my email. Quick responses to my questions. Professional service. The crew is polite and I felt right at home with them here. That is when I know I made the right choice with the company I hired. The work was completed in a timely matter, and I am very pleased with the results. I would hire them back in a heart beat, and definitely recommend them whenever anyone inquires about our floor.
They were in and out the same day. They came in the morning, ripped the floors out, and that afternoon the new floors were in and photographs were sent to us through Facebook so that I we could see them, because we don’t live in the same state. Chris and Jon were great to work with from the start. They were very responsive to requests and professional all the way. They came to the house to do the estimate and show us samples. When the product we wanted was on backorder, they helped us pick another one that worked great. They completed the work on time and it looks GREAT! Would definitely use them again for flooring.
We live in Virginia, but have a condo in St. Augustine, Florida. The carpets needed to be replaced. As I was unable to go to Florida, my wife went down to renovate the entire condo. They completed the entire job in 4 days. They sent 4 men to work on the day 1 to remove all existing tile and actually began laying the new floor that afternoon. With our permission they worked from 7:15 until 6-ish every night. The next 3 days they had 2-3 men here working. They all wore uniform shirts with their names on them. The men were clean, polite and professional. They took care to protect our property by putting down heavy brown paper and plastic film to protect our carpets and floors. They were great. They did the whole house in one day and were very helpful. A couple of months later the foundation moved which causedthe flooring to buckleand they came out and fixed it right away; no questions asked. I would definitely recommend them to others.
After receiving estimates from three "A" rated Angie's List companies, we chose Designer Lifestyles because they demonstrated the highest degree of professionalism. One company did not even provide a written estimate; they simply called me with a verbal quote! A second company provided something in writing but did not itemize the services to be performed. After our flood, we interviewed a ton of contractors for wood, tile, wall repair, painting, etc. You don't appreciate how many different types of contractors you need to do these types of things! What I heard a lot from contractors was, "Well, I do hardwoods, but I don't do baseboards," or "I can do tile, but I don't do hardwoods," etc. It was getting to be a major hassle coordinating several contractors.
